Losing weight can be a frustrating and challenging journey. Sometimes, it might seem like you’re doing everything right and still not seeing results. But don’t lose hope – there are strategies for sustainable weight loss!
The key is to find your personalized macros – this means tracking your protein, fat, and carb intake using macro counting. Your macros are unique to you, and they’re based on factors like your age, sex, height, weight, and daily activity level. That’s why finding your macros is essential if you want to lose weight on a ketogenic diet.
Basically… it’s how much do you eat?
Counting your macros might sound daunting, but it’s easier than you think. While there are plenty of apps and websites out there that will help you track your macros, such as MyFitnessPal or Cronometer, I don’t recommend depending on these for weight loss. These tools don’t know your personal metabolic data and numbers. I use a specific data tracking system with your own data to figure your macros. With that said, your accurate macros and these tools, all you need to do, is input what you ate, and the app will calculate your macros for you.
Once you’ve found your personalized macros, the next step is to stick to them! It’s essential to keep track of what you eat every day to ensure you stay within your macro limits. Be mindful of portion sizes and be disciplined – this means not going over your macros, even on days when you’re feeling tempted.
If you’re patient and follow your macros consistently, you’ll start to see results. You’ll begin to lose weight and feel more energetic and focused in your daily life. Losing weight on a ketogenic diet isn’t always easy, but it’s worth the effort. I’ve lost 120 lbs and have kept it off for 6 years!! And remember, the number one tip to get started is to find your personalized macros and stick to them like clockwork.
You got this babe! If you need help, I’m here for ya!!
